• Incident: Killed when a makeshift bomb detonated near his military vehicle in Baghdad.

in Operation Iraqi Freedom.• Unit:Army, 1st Battalion,

• Incident: Died in Balad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when the Blackhawk helicopter he was in crashed.

• Incident: Killed when his patrol was ambushed while conducting dismounted operations in Karbala.

• Incident: Died from injuries sustained when he stepped on a landmine during patrol operations in Helmand, Afghanistan.
