• The Table of Contents is like a menu. It lists the sections or chapters of the book and tells on which page they begin.

• The glossary is like a mini dictionary of words from the book that you may not know.

• Each word and its definition are called an entry.

• The pronunciation guide tells us how to say the word correctly.

• The index is a directory of words or topics from the book. It is arranged alphabetically.

• It tells the reader on which pages the topic can be found.

An asteroid is one of many small planet-like objects that revolve around the sun.

A black hole is a collapsed star or other object whose gravity is so strong that nothing, including light can escape from it.

CComet (KAHM iht)

A comet is a bright object in space made of frozen ice, gas, and dust. It looks like a star with a tail.
