ENROLLING IN A COURSE

If you have an assigned progression, you will have two options for enrolling in a course. If you do not have an assigned progression, you will follow the COURSE CATALOG path.

If you have an assigned progression, your two options are ENROLL NOW (in the red circle above) or COURSE CATALOG (in the yellow circle above).

From the Course Details page, you can click on ADD TO CART (red arrow on image), causing an orange icon to appear next to the shopping cart icon (yellow arrow on image). Clicking on the shopping cart icon will take you to the Checkout page. Once you have confirmed everything is accurate, click on CONFIRM ORDER (green arrow on image). ACCESSING YOUR COURSE By clicking inside the box with the course title (red rectangle in the image above), you will open your course. The course will display the different lessons and the status of each lesson. Lessons that have already been completed and passed will have a check mark to the left of the lesson number, like Lesson 1 in the image (yellow box). By clicking on the carrot (dark blue circle) to the right of the lesson number you can expand or condense the lesson.

Clicking on the lesson title, Using Equations and Powers of Numbers in the case of Lesson 2, will launch that lesson and allow you to review the content (see images on next page).

Once you have reviewed the lesson content, the lesson exam will unlock and allow you to open and proceed (red arrow). Lesson exams are open book and open note, and serve as an opportunity for you to confirm your understanding of the material included in that lesson, as well as to prepare you for the final exam.

Clicking on the lesson exam (to the right of the red arrow) will open the lesson exam and follow a process like the screen shots on the next few pages. You will be presented the questions one at a time. You will have an opportunity to review all your answers before you submit. You will have four attempts to achieve the required score of 70% or better on each lesson exam.

Should you score less than 70% on your first attempt at a lesson exam, you will be provided an opportunity to review the questions you missed by clicking on the REVIEW MISSED QUESTIONS button (red arrow). The image on the following page is an example of the question review process.

July 2020 - Confidential Document

Once you are comfortable with your review of the missed questions and the lesson content, you may begin your second attempt at the lesson exam. The process will be the same, though you will receive a pop-up message at the beginning to acknowledge this is your second attempt at the lesson exam and to provide a reminder that lesson exams are open book and open note. You will experience the same process after each failed attempt (up to four). If you fail your fourth (final attempt), the course will move to a failed status, access to the course will be locked, and you will be required to reenroll in the course if you so desire. Please be advised that your Training Coordinator will be notified if you reach a fourth attempt. The image on the next page includes an example of the pop-up message. Once you score 70% or higher on a lesson exam, you will receive a pop-up acknowledging you have passed and the course will update to display a checkmark next to the lesson. For additional detail on lesson and final exams, please see the Course Policies in the Terms & Conditions section in Amp.
