• We are offering weekly Math 6 help sessions every Thursday morning!

• 8:15-8:45am

• Locations will be posted on the blog

MATH – How can you help your child be ready?• Make sure your child is completing nightly homework• Check the blog for fun games and videos if your child

isn’t proficient• Make sure your child is studying for Friday’s quiz/test• Use the MSG!! (The study guide for the unit is already

there!!)• Be knowledgeable of the topics your child is learning,

and point them out in everyday situations. Show them math in the “real world” to help them see the relevance.

• Ask your child to show you what he or she is learning

– The following is not acceptable…holes in any garment, leggings/jeggings (worn under a skirt/dress/shorts or alone), pajama pants, flip flops, sport slides, tank tops

• Behavior•Appropriate behavior is essential to a successful school year

– It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that all work is made up.

– Number of days absent plus one additional day to turn in work.

• Late Work– Students who turn in

late work will receive partial credit.

– 10 points will be deducted for each day late (up to three days)
