1 An application designed to allow first responders in a disaster situation to communicate swiftly and effectively with each other about events and their locations through shared editable maps.

Why use a tablet?• Portability

– Users are mobile, frequently walking or driving to a new location.

– Users are outside away from the traditional desk setting.

• Pen Interface– MiKi user may need to be standing when they use

the application. A pen is ideal for standing, while a keyboard can be tortuous to use.

– Difficult to convey visual information as text
