DDie Macht der Gewohnheit ist stark – und verhindert manch schönen
Moment. Generationen von Bikern pilgern an den Gardasee oder nach Finale Ligure. Und tun dies immer und immer wieder. Klar, der Weg zum Tremalzo ist ein Traum, in der Mecki-Bar wird man von Mary geherzt, Gelati und Espressi im Flora schmecken fantastisch, und auf die Pizza im Bavaria ist auch immer Verlass. Der Mensch ist ein Gewohnheitstier und weiß eben gerne, was ihn erwartet. Uns geht das nicht anders: Test-Bikes einladen, ab über den Brenner und die bewährte Testrunde abspulen. Für diesen Test von acht E-MTB-Allroundern aber haben wir unsere einge-fahrenen Muster durchbrochen: statt Road to Riva, ein Roadtrip in uns unbekannte Bike-Regionen. Und eines vorweg: Es hat sich gelohnt.
Unsere Begleiter: acht aktuelle E-Mountainbikes mit rund 150 Milli-metern Federweg und Alu-Rahmen, aufgeteilt in zwei Preisgruppen. Um 4300 Euro und rund 5500 Euro. Welche Modelle schlagen sich auf rup-pigen Pfaden am besten, welche auf gebauten Flowtrails? Und: Ist der Fahrspaß wirklich eine Frage des Preises? In der Preis-Leistungsklasse: Canyons Spectral:On 7.0, das für seine starke Ausstattung bekannt ist. Das Ghost SL AMR X S 3.7, dessen großer und teurer Bruder mit Carbon-Rahmen uns in mehreren Tests begeisterte. Und das Giant Trance E+ 2 Pro mit Yamaha-Antrieb. Besonders spannend in der 5500-Euro-Katego-rie: Kann das hochdekorierte und viel gelobte Specialized Levo, das be-kanntermaßen nicht zu den Schnäppchen am Markt zählt, auch in dieser Preisklasse und mit Alu-Rahmen glänzen?
