3rd Sunday in
Ordinary Time
Let us heed
God’s call.
How many times do we have to stumble and
fall before we realize that following God’s
ways, not our own, leads to happiness and
salvation? We must never resist the Lord,
but always answer His call.

Emergency Help Still Needed!!!
We’ve called for plows to clear snow from all
our properties five times so far this year, and
#5 was officially a blizzard! AS WE GO TO
PRESS, ANOTHER ONE’S ON THE WAY!
Not only are the Collections low, but costs
are high: from the plowing and also the ex-
tended time periods we’ve had to put all
buildings on a permanent heat hold or risk
broken pipes and an even worse situation!
If you could toss a bit extra in upcoming
Collections or use the Weather Emergency
Envelopes in all pews and at all Exits, your
sacrifices will really help in this matter!
Most important of all: Keep living your
Faith every day and at Mass each Sunday,
and many thanks for your generosity!
Remember: You can contribute on-line at

MANY GIFTS, ONE NATION:
A DAY OF GIVING BEGINS JANUARY 30 AT 9 AM
Countless people in our country have been blessed by the many gifts of Catholic Schools. However,
many adults have lost touch with their local Catholic School Community. It’s time for those people who
have been impacted by their school to reconnect with the community that gave them so much and give
back. With this recognition in mind, the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) is present-
ing the on-line giving campaign: Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools.
Check out either our School or Church Web site for instructions on how you can give on Tuesday, Janu-
ary 30. Visit either www.maternitybvm.net or www.maternitybvmchurch.net. You can give to as many
schools/dioceses as you would like. Your gift will go only to the school you have selected and your do-
nor information will not be shared with any other school or organization. MasterCard, Visa and Dis-
cover will be the only accepted forms of payment (American Express and Diners Club are not eligible.)
A receipt will be sent directly to your E-mail once your gift has been made.
Don’t forget to let others know you participated. Share on your social media networks and challenge
former teachers, classmates and friends to give as well! Remember: Many Gifts, One Nation will only
be available for 24 hours. Make sure your gift to Maternity B.V.M. happens during this time!
