Marvellous, magical maths
Where to start? We had an amazing Maths Week this November with links to art,
music, science and beyond. We have launched Mathletics at Bevingon and hosted
the first North Kensington Maths Competition, working with all our favourite
other local schools. To top it all off we had a hilarious and inspiring dress up day
to finish the week. The levels of creativity and thought that went into the cos-
tumes really took our breath away. Thank you for all participating with such good
spirits. Maths matters and we all know it !
November 2017
Our value of the month is peace
The school was full of quiet reflection
when we all completed our #24hearts
designs as part of the project to re-
member Grenfell. The children made
thoughtful and moving tributes to the
people who care about them and we
look forward to seeing them displayed
on Portobello Road soon.

Trips enrich our curriculum
We have had some fantastic opportuni-
ties to us the local area and beyond this
month. Year 1 and 2 have been to Porto-
bello Market and to the Tate Modern,
where they had a swinging time! Year 5
have been to the Aquarium and Year 3&4
have been to Hampton Court to learn
about the Tudors. How lucky we are to
live in London and have access to all of
this!
Tip Top Data The Government have released their lat-
est round of school data and we are ex-
tremely proud to be in the
TOP 1% OF SCHOOL’S
NATIONALLY !
This something we think is definitely
worth shouting about so we are going to.
This makes all the hard work and focus
from all the children and staff worthwhile.
The future is bright at Bevington.
Bevington Remembers
November 11th is a day that we always look
to mark at Bevington and with this month’s
value being peace it was even more important
than ever for us to make a statement about
what that means to us .
A BIG thank you to all the grownups who
worked so hard making sure all the children’s
poppies were displayed so effectively.
