Marketing and Working Smarter• Ensuring we follow up clients and reduce the LTFU• Asking clients about their smoking status• Partnership working – Whole Organisation Approach• Promotional resources• Promotion from Smokefree West Sussex• Public Health Campaigns
Why do we need to follow up clients
To build a robust and quality 12 week programme that a client is committed to. It gives the client the best chance of quitting, if they know the programme is robust and that their commitment to quit is real.
Lost To Follow Ups
Lost to Follow Ups need to be prevented from happening if possible and clients need to be contacted finding out why they were unable to attend the appointment. The first consultation should end with this question?
“ What would you like me to do if you do not make next weeks appointment?”
“You said last week you would like me to ring you if I didn’t see you this week…….”
Asking clients about their Smoking Status
Are we asking the question and finding out our clients smoking status?
• I see that you are buying NRT do you know you can get free support here to quit smoking, you may be entitled to free NRT on prescription. Would you like me to make you an appointment with our Smoking Advisor?
