DESCRIPTION

Get Innovating -- Faster, Better, Smarter was morning Discovery Session run by The Creative State North West (PPP) July 11th 2012, who recently announced a new Business Innovation Support Programme called 4CNW that has a fund of over €100,000. The first round of Talent Voucher's will be awarded in September 2012 and is confined to businesses in the North West of Ireland; specifically Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim, Donegal and Roscommon. A key aim of the 4CNW programme is to enable knowledge exchange and experience between creative businesses and the wider business environment through brokered matchmaking to encourage better practice in demand led innovation.SME's, companies and Industry will be sponsored to innovate their products, services or processes and matched with an appropriate creative skill set to help solve their innovation need/challenge.Watch the video of Mary McAuliffe's presentation here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InwxGLiKPC0&list=PL445546E2E33EF532&index=1&feature=plpp_video

THE PROCESS:

REGISTRATION

• Download and complete application form

• Check eligibility criteria and FAQ’s

• Registration open from 11th July

• Deadline for innovation challenge applications 5pm 2012 27th July

MATCHMAKING

• Shortlisting by Independent Expert Panel early September 2012

• Successful challenges along with recommended Creative Suppliers will be invited to a Matchmaking Event on the

20th September

• Talent Vouchers will be awarded before the end of September

COLLABORATION

• Induction Session will take place in early October 2012

• Projects Collaborations will take place in October /November 2012

• Funding Drawdown will be 20% on commencement and 80% following submission of a short project report

• Mentoring & Help Desk supports available• Evaluation & Feedback / Closure Session mid
