People celebrated Christmas in another way long ago, than nowadays.

In that time people had dinner at home together with their families, but now people usually have dinner for example in restaurants on Christmas Eve.

In those days people didn’t use to get real presents , but they were happy about spending time together which was enough. Nowadays children want to get more and more and very expensive things. Like: telephones, toys, etc. And they get everything, they want.

„Christmas…ago it was about love…”

A lot of people made handmade gifts long ago and they sent postcards and letters to their family members or friends instead of sending sms or e-mail.

Nowadays they go to the shops and buy the tree or maybe a plastic tree. These costums aren’t very personal and unfortunately they are getting more and more impersonal.
