Welcome to the 2018 LSE International Development Volunteering Fair
This evening you have the opportunity to meet a range of organisations
recruiting people to volunteer in international development in London and
overseas.
This event is hosted by the LSE Volunteer Centre. We are here to inspire
and support you to find the right volunteering opportunity during your
time at LSE. Come and speak to us this evening to hear more about how
we can help.
Our research shows that thousands of you will volunteer during your time
at LSE and will make a huge impact with hundreds of organisations.
Volunteering can also improve your LSE experience helping you make new
friends, explore London and understand your course.
You can view our online vacancy board, LSE CareerHub, which currently
has over 200 opportunities to volunteer including fundraising, research,
community engagement, and mentoring roles. We promote roles to suit
whatever spare time you have, from just one hour to two days a week.

adding volunteering to your preferences on CareerHub and follow us on
social media.

The LSE Volunteer Centre is here to help you find a voluntary opportunity at a
charity during your time at LSE. We work with many different charities across
London and internationally and advertise opportunities that range from one off
community projects to part-time internships.
We run seminars and one-to-one appointments to help you find the perfect
opportunity. We also organise many one-off volunteering opportunities where you
can participate with a team of LSE students in a volunteering opportunity for a
couple of hours to a day. You can come by our stall to learn more about our
services and events.
Got a question?
If you’d like to get more advice about volunteering you can book a one-to-one volunteering appointment via CareerHub. You can also send your questions to volunteer@lse.ac.uk.
Share your volunteering experiences
So many students take part in one-off and long-term volunteering whilst at LSE
and we’d love to hear about your experiences.
There are a couple of ways in which you can let us know how you get on and what
