Urban streams are not gutters. They are the lifeline of the city for recharging the groundwater and absorbing excess rainfall. Devnadi is a rivulet in Baner in Pune. Here is a picture of its natural beauty and the hoy it gives to the residents of Baner. It also explains how such streams play the critical role in natural rain water harvesting and buffering excess rainfall.
