Restoration GardensRestoration Gardens is a 43-unit apartment complex in SouthernPark Heights for young adults. Plans include a fully computer-networkedbuilding with enhanced support and community services,with strong tiesto employment and educational opportunities employment andeducation opportunities. Eligibility: Homeless youth age 18-24, lowincome individuals with/ without a disability. Capacity: 43 units.
City Steps Youth Resource CenterThe City Steps Youth Resource Center opened September 2, 2008.Here we provide case management, emergency services, life skillseducation and referrals to housing for homeless and unstably housedyouth, ages 14-24.
Mobile OutreachSystems Navigators identify homeless youth, ages 14 – 24, andconnect them to immediate and long-term services within the com-munity. Navigators liaison with service providers and dispenseupdated accessible, and life-sustaining resource information toBaltimore’s sizable homeless youth population. Navigators helpyouth access applicable funds and vouchers for food, clothing, andother necessities as well as utility and eviction assistance. Navigatorsoperate throughout all of Baltimore City.
Carriage House - Transitional Living Program For YouthThe Carriage House Transitional Living Program provides supportive casemanagement, independent living skills training, educational and jobcoaching to support job skills and income growth for homeless youth andis the only such program in the state of Maryland. Residential servicesare available for seven single young men and women, age 18-21, with ahistory of homelessness and a readiness to take advantage of supportservices for up to 21 months. Eligibility: Homeless youth age 18-21, lowincome individuals with/ without a disability. Capacity: 7 units.
Geraldine Young Family Life CenterThe Geraldine Young Family Life Center is a transitional living programserving parenting youth, ages 18-24 that provides supportive casemanagement, independent living skills training, educational and jobcoaching to support job skills and income growth for homeless orunstably housed youth and their children. Residential services areavailable for 12 young parents and their children for a period of up to24 months. Eligibility: Homeless individuals 18-24, low income womenwith/ without a disability and their family members. Capacity: 12 units.
