Sentence Writing

Read two sentences to your child each day. Have them write the sentences. Stretch the

words out to help them spell. Don’t forget the capital letter and full stop.

Week 11 Physical Education

Warm up: Make sure you are warming up everyday before doing physical activities.

1. Put both hands in the air, reach for the sky and move your arms from side to side. Do this for 10 seconds.

2. Touch your knees then reach your toes. Try to reach your toes without bending your knees. Do this 3 times.

3. Run on the spot for 10 seconds. 4. Do 5 star jumps. 5. Take 5 deep breaths.

Tuesday: Number Cards Exercise

Using the number cards 1-10, choose a number at random and do the exercise for that number. Go through each number at least 2 times.

1 – 1 star jump

2 – push up

3 – hop 3 times

4 – hold both arms in the air for 4 seconds

5 – run on the spot for 5 seconds

6 – jump on the spot 6 times

7 – hop 7 times

8 – 8 star jumps

9 – touch your toes 9 times

10 – run on the spot for 10 seconds

Thursday: Pillow Walk

Set up a line of cushions on the floor. If you do not have cushions, mark some spots on the floor with objects from around the house i.e. socks or paper. Jump, walk and hop from one end to another. Spread the cushions and spots out a little further each time.

Indoor Hopscotch

Leaving your cushions or marks on the floor, toss a soft object to one of the cushions or marks. Then either hop, jump or walk to the object, pick it up and come back to the starting point with the chosen skill.

Friday: Catch

Use a balloon or soft object such as a rolled up pair of socks. Start by standing close to your partner and as you get better at your catch take a step back. Every time one of you drop the object you have to take a step closer.

Create a Card

Make a card for someone in your family

You could include a message that says: I love you Thank you
