Kate Bellm follows on in that long and

well-trod tradition of shooting sexy

kids looking wasted for the camera.

The difference between Kate and the

thousands of other photographers

who spend all their time and film on

nights out and adventures, is that

Kate is making a living. Which means,

she must be good. Kate lives in Berlin,

London and New York. Her phone bill

In a world where everybody’s a photographer, Anna Linderstam is very

far from everybody. In order to achieve a result, she often hypnotises or

temporarily blinds her subjects. It makes for uncomfortable watching but

ultimately it’s about as far away as you can get from social snaps. Anna

works with a large format 10x8” camera and only prints analogue to

make highly detailed and precise photographs. She says that when mak-

ing the images she “wants the different types of textures to be visible and

to give the illusion that it would almost be possible to touch the charac-

ters.” And if you could touch them you’d probably want to give them a

pat on the back and a cup of tea.

Erik Tidemann Brad DowneyYou’d enjoy spending time with Erik and Brad. Two young men who met at art college and found a shared redneck background to bind them together. They would have more than enough time to shoot the breeze and regale you with fun stories over a couple of slow beers and a cosy table. Recently they took off to Trondheim in Norway to spend some time in the woods as part of an ongo-ing project they call ‘Decadent Rednecks’.

Calligraphy and lake fishing inspire autumn winter’s Onitsuka collection. Sumi again brings beauty through simplicity in shape and colour. For Tsuri, lake fishing in the Japanese mountains renders a collection with lively colour combinations and details such as pockets and clear-cut lines.
