Membership includes educational opportunities, as well as networking opportunities

• Local Sections host educational meetings and seminars, which allow members to hone their skills and network at the same time.

• IES Regional Conferences are coordinated by Midwest, Northeast, South and/or West Regions providing additional opportunities for coursework and personal interaction with professionals from a wide range of international lighting disciplines.

• IES Annual Conference connect members on a global level. Usually held every November.

• IES Online digital courses make education possible at any time of day.

• Mentorship Program connects emerging professionals with established professionals.

Members develop additional leadership skills

by participating on a committee or serving on

the Board of Managers.

provide for thoughtful leadership
