Well another one bits the dust, Quilt Show, that is. It was a great show as always. Thanks to a lot of participation and hard work. Roberta and Jean did an outstanding job chairing the show this year, thank you! It is a hard job and you two made it look easy. I loved the Hoffman Challenge special exhibit. I loved all the Silent Auction entries. I loved the Boutique. I loved all the vendors. And, I loved all of our quilts, wall hangings and artsy piec-es we exhibited in the show. My cup runneth over with love.
Congratulations to all those who received a ribbon. If it were up to me, I would have given out a lot more ribbons because we had so many stunning entries. We have so much talent and creativity in our midst. You all amaze me. Happy Sewing, JoAnn Borchelt, President
OPPORTUNITY QUILT UPDATE:
Our Opportunity Quilt took in approximately $1,702.00. Thank you ladies for all your help in making this quilt and in selling tickets! Our lucky winner is one of Fran Richmond's daughters! Barbara Laxson

QUILTED BLESSINGS Thank you for all the quilts you have been making. We had a nice display at our Quilt Show. I hope you saw it. I have two quilts that need to be quilted. They both have the top, batting and backing. I will bring them to guild and if you want to take them home and quilt them, I would appreciate it. Missouri Star Quilt Company has asked for quilts to help with the hurricane relief. I will take 19 of our finished quilts this week. Thanks again. Teddie Broughton 816-803-9312
