Inspired by the Urban attitude of London.

By producing 3D paper sculptures, adding colour

using Adobe Photoshop, then reworking their original 3D relief back into the prints, I produced a maverick urban

range of fashion prints.

‘Everybody loves a Scandal’ Inspired by the dark side of the fashion industry. The following series of designs are split into three categories, 1) Pollution 2) Fast Fashion, Unsustainable Trends & Waste 3) Vanity, Size 0, Celebrity Culture Though all three categories are very serious issues within the industry I explored them in a light hearted way in order to make my designs both desirable yet meaningful. I am currently in the process of producing a series of 6 outfits in a Sports Luxe style showcasing my print designs.

My inspiration for this project was to make the ordinary and un pretty

beautiful. I took a series of

photographs of unsightly scenes and used distress

techniques to collage then together.

The end use for my prints is high end, quirky,

menswear.

This project epitomises some of the most important things

in my life. My designs for this project collage memories, family

members and photographs. The prints have a real

Caribbean vibe to them, hence the title Carnival.

This project was where I my love for 3D paper manipulation went a stage further, to

interactive paper instillations. Here I designed a series of interactive 3D

paper collages designed to change with the viewers preference.

The outer paper was completely white, as the viewer pulls the tabs colour appears.

Using my collages I produced a range of womenswear designs as well as the visual

merchandising to match.

This project was in response to a live brief to design on trend

garments for the Clothes Show Live.

It was a group project where I worked as part of a successful

team of six. Our inspiration heavily derived

from the current Fetish trend and incorporated a range of dresses

and heavily embellished accessories.

Our final dresses and accessories were shown on the catwalk at

the Clothes Show Live.
