Family Health Teams.
La Cité collégiale, which intends to provide: • a daycare and an early childhood services training
program. A request for funding has been submitted to the City of Ottawa to obtain funded childcare spaces and capital funds to build a daycare centre.
• a Job Connect program and various employment services;
• an educational program including Ontario’s basic training, continuing education, language training, personalized training and accelerated training.

Advantages to the project
– The 21,000 francophones in the City of Ottawa will have full access to French-language services
– The entire Ottawa West community will have access to services and to a centre that will make it easier to learn French.
– The property value will be $10 to $12 million once the new centre is built
– The heritage value of the Grant School will be preserved s.
– Once built, the CMFO will be financially self-sufficient and will not require any public funding.
