• This seminar is a series of field-based lectures which expose students to many topics of study in Sri Lanka. Examples include:

• Each student conducts a project of his or her choosing in a relevant site.

• Students spend 3-5 weeks immersed in their research sites and then return to Kandy to prepare a final paper and presentation
