Students will be able to determine what is web design and the rules of what makes an effective website. Students will discuss who and how the rules of website design are created.

Using Adobe Muse, students will create a website based on a ficticious client scenario. The website needs to be effective and meet the requirements of the presented scenario.
Students will be assessed using criterion D – Responding because students will be focusing on responding to the needs of the client and implementing accepted rules of website design.
Relationship between summative assessment task(s) and statement of inquiry
Students will learn the requirements of good web design and create a website for a company. Students will critique all websites to cement the concepts of web design. This design is the use of space utilizing accepted principles such as the CRAP principle.

This unit begins where DA2 left off. A pretest is given and the first weeks vocabulary is a review of last years.

Daily work can be self assessed, peer assessed or teacher assessed. Weekly discussions willhave students understand others perspective. At least once a week students will have scenarios to complete daily assignments.
