Certificate II, III and IV + Business Administration opportunities
available – 12 month duration + opportunity to progress to higher certificate level
Certificate III + Process Plant Operations (two year
traineeship as a Process Operator based at Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) – Residential)
APPRENTICESHIPS
Karratha based positions for KGP, although Fly-in and fly-out (FIFO) opportunities are available for Pluto. Will be specified at recruitment times.
Certificate III + Engineering (Mechanical)
Certificate IV + Electrical/Instrumentation
+ Radio Communications
Apprenticeships will be delivered over a four year program to provide practical and theoretical skills that enable development and specialisation in the chosen field.
These traineeships are delivered over a two year program in the following areas.
Certificate II + Warehouse operations and
Certificate III – Logistics (two year traineeship). Potential to progress into the Certificate III Process Plant Operators Traineeship
+ Engineering
Certificate III + IT, with opportunity to progress to
Certificate IV – Networking, or other IT qualifications
+ Logistics (two year traineeship as an Operations Support Trainee based at KGP – Residential)

INDIGENOUS CADETSHIP PROGRAM
Woodside is a participant in the Indigenous Cadetship Support Project, an Australian Government initiative aimed at improving the professional employment prospects of Indigenous Australians (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) enrolled in an Australian undergraduate degree.

SUMMER VACATION PROGRAM
The Summer Vacation Program is open to students in their second to last year of university. In the 12 week program (or four week program for accounting students), students will gain exposure to real, meaningful work, but will also obtain an insight into the culture, exposure to leaders, and the possibility of seeing Woodside’s operations first-hand.

Graduate Development Program
As part of the three year program, graduates have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge through rotations both within their function and to other areas of the business. Students will also work on projects and attend training that will build on their soft skills and business acumen.
Graduates will also attend a site visit in the first year of the program and obtain learnings from some of the brightest leaders in the oil and gas industry.
