SPORTS CLUB IN GERMANY

91, 000 different sports club with about 26 million members. Some German sports club are known internationally (FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund).

Sports club are less cheaper than health fitness centers (anyone can join).

Immigrants can join sports club to help them transition better in society.

Children will less likely play video games and figure out their preference in life.

Sports club are all connected to other public institutions (schools, nursery, etc).

IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT SOCCER

Most Germans don’t belong in a health fitness center, but are members of verein (clubs).

Clubs allow people to be part of the community. Walking/running: trails and paths are everywhere in

Germany (Nordic walking or Volkslauf/Volksmarches). Golf: in order to play, members need a Platzreife

(golfing license) because they need to know golf rules and etiquettes.

Swimming pools are everywhere as well in Germany, it could be local pools or amusement-like pools.
