The biennium has had a bubbling start. 30 Illinois

sisters attended the North Central Regional Conference

in Indianapolis. We celebrated chapter accomplish-

ments, world understanding and fraternal fellowship.

The International Executive Council is having conversa-

tions about offices of the elected Executive Board. The

possibility of eliminating certain offices may affect our

state board structure and eventually chapter officer

slates. At the September state board meeting, we will

discuss these issues. Check out page 2 to see more Indy

action and results.

Chapter Presidents, I need your help. The H-107 re-

port of officers are still not complete thus getting news-

letters and district information to the correct person has

been challenging. If this has not yet been filed for your

chapter, please do so. Also please remember to send

meeting minutes and the program yearbook to me. I

look forward to invitations to visit your chapter. Check

out the details of the leadership workshops coming this

month. I’m looking forward to meeting you there.

CHAPTER CORNER Our last Kappan asked “What will you do to fight Alzheimer's on June 20?” Sisters of Alpha Phi took lunch and visited with their Sapphire Sister, Jean Florini on Wednesday, June 22. Jean lives in an Alzheimer’s care facility called Apsen Creek in Sullivan, IL. They took lunch for the entire unit, staff and guests of resi-dents. They enjoyed visiting with all the residents and the wonderful staff who works there.
