• SJSU President Mo Qayoumi spoke at “Regional Upward Spirals: Future Technologies, Skills, Jobs and Quality-of-Life” IBM Almaden Research Center, San Jose, CA September 27th, 2011

• Multiple Sbona Honors Program Students from the College of Business work with IBMers at Alamden on various projects for the last few semesters (Spohrer, Philips, Mak, …)

• Professor Ashraf Shirani of the College of Business will be using Cognos in his MBA class in the spring semester

• Professor Chris Tseng of CS received IBM Smarter Planet Innovation Award

• Professor Stephen Kwan of the College of Business is teaching Service Science courses to MIS and MBA students
