• Create a movie presentation information on education, inventors and inventions, authors and languages

replica of an original piece of African art

• Students explore why it’s important to reflect on other cultures

• Students are set up in cooperative learning groups to study the history of immigrants “Old” and “New”

• Journal is in a first-person narrative of their assigned identity

• Students demonstrate how these concepts are present in the real world
