Take a look at Luke 18:22

Here we see Jesus was talking with a rich man who wanted to go to heaven Jesus

said“One thing you still

lack. Sell all that you have and

distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in

heaven.”

Luke 18:23-25

“But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich. Jesus seeing that he had become sad, said ‘how difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!’”

Luke 18:25

“for it is easier for a camel to

go through they eye of a needle than for a rich

person to enter the kingdom of

God.”

Rich man = Fail

Skip over a couple Chapters to Luke 19:5

Jesus meets Zacchaeus (a rich tax collector)

“And when jesus

came to the place, he looked up and

said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry

and come down, for I must stay at your

house today.”

Luke 19:8

“And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, ‘Behold, Lord the half of my goods I give to the poor, And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it

fourfold’.”
