How Employee Engagement Can Improve Quality Although there are still some old fashioned employers who like to set up a task or series of them and

expect them to be completed by their employees who in many cases they do not know the names

of. This is especially common in bigger organizations. It has been proven that businesses that take on

board the opinions of those working for them and work as part of a team rather than those at the

top and lower rungs of the ladder use employee engagement have better results.

By including all workers in any changes that will be

made and giving reason as to why such changes are

being made, will make them feel valued. This gives a

whole different attitude to the way their work is

approached with them wanting to give everything they

have to do their best for the employer and the company

as a whole.

This concept can unearth an area where an individual

could excel where they may have not had the

confidence to come forward in different circumstances.

Any problems that happen outside of work, maybe at home could mean some are not putting

everything they have into work they undertake, however if their overheads are approachable they

could open up and begin to resolve such issues.

There are different ways in which people have tried to improve the amount of work that can be

produced with a large outlay of money, this is not always cost efficient. Letting employees know that

what they have to say is important improves their confidence and even mood which makes the job

more enjoyable to them.

For bigger firms where management cannot personally get to know each individual, there are other

options such as putting people in control of a certain team. This will allow the appointed leader to

notice when someone is finding their work mundane and to make changes that challenge those who

need it that little bit more. This keeps them interested and eager to please, especially when their

efforts are noticed.

Employee engagement is something that many businesses could do with, yet have not as of yet

harnessed the benefits even though there is much proof to support it. This is an advantage to those

who take it on board as they have something over others who may be offering a similar service or

product.

Such a method can be easy to put into place without risks, financial outlay or the necessity to bring

others on board.
