 January 12, 2010, Port-au-Prince, Haiti was hit by a category 7.0 earthquake. Since then, theentire country has been recovering from the quake’s devastating effects. HELPING H ANDS

FOR LIMONADE assists children in Limonade, Haiti, who have been displaced by the 2010catastrophe.

 A little goes a long way….  Any donation amount is wonderful! Here is how Helping Hands uses your financial support:$20 is enough to cover a child’s schooling and lunch for a month. $200 is enough to cover a child’s schooling and lunch for a year. $100 is enough to support a small business for one year.

MISSION HELPING H ANDS FOR 

LIMONADE’S goals are simple, but life changing.Our mission is threefold:

*  To provide a healthy educational environmentto 100 children in Limonade, Haiti. Thisincludes not only schooling, but regular meals. As many studies have shown, without propernutrition, it is difficult for a child to learn.

*  To assist parents financially throughmicrofinanancing efforts. Astonishingly, itonly takes about $100 to keep a small Haitianbusiness running for a year. Most of thebusinesses HELPING H ANDS FOR LIMONADE funds are headed by single mothers.

*  To provide spiritual support to our brothersand sisters in Haiti. The volunteer staff of HELPING H ANDS FOR  LIMONADE firmly believes that anything good must come fromour heavenly Father.

STAFF HELPING H ANDS FOR LIMONADE isrun by a staff of volunteers. We havecombined our resources and skills with theambition of significantly impacting the lives of Haitian children and their families.

Reverend Joseph W. Maitre  was born inHaiti. Since coming to the states, it has beenhis aspiration to assist those suffering in Haiti.Currently, Rev. Maitre ministers to pastors inFlorida, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.

 Josephine Marcellin Maitre is also a Haitiannative who has spent more than half her life inthe United States. She is a motivational speakerand encourages Haitians in America facing language and cultural barriers.
