GOVERNMENT SCHEME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a Java web based Project.

Government Scheme Management System is a software application to automate the process for utilization of various schemes provided by government for various panchayats

The major responsibility is to take care of the proper utilization of different schemes in a transparent way

Introduction

Users can view and modify their personal info by logging on to their account

Accounts can be created before or during Check Out process.

Full order history and details are available to the Users.

We can easily manage User details, Scheme Details.

Functional Requirements

The system should be web-based system

Users should use the system via internet

Each user should have a user account. The system should ask the username and password to users.

Non-Functional Requirements

24 X 7 availability

Better component design to get better performance at peak time

Flexible service based architecture will be highly desirable for future extension

The existing system is manual and the manual system works in the following way:

Current system is a manual one in every panchayat displays the list of available schemes provided by the Government.

It invites the applications from the eligible users based on certain criteria.

Existing System

All the applications are verified at panchayat level and then approved applications are sent to District level for approval.

All the approved users avail the benefits of the scheme.

Its takes more time to complete the process.

Proposed system is a software application which avoids more manual hours that need to spend in record keeping and generating reports.

This application keeps the data in a centralized way which is available to all the users simultaneously.

It is very easy to manage historical data in database.

No specific training is required for the employees to use this application. They can easily use the tool that decreases manual hours spending for normal things and hence increases the performance

We have four modules they are 1. Administrator module 2. User module 3. Scheme module 4. Report module

Modules

MODULES ARE:

• Administrator module: This module provides administrator related functionalities.

Administrator can add, delete, edit and view the details of all schemes proposed by the government.

• User Module: This module provides user related functionality. A user can view the

details of each scheme, check eligibility for the scheme and also can apply online for the scheme.

• Scheme Module: This module manages the details of each scheme such as, scheme

purpose, date of introduction, eligibility criteria, closing date (if any), authorized departments and officials etc.

• Reports Module: This module is used by administrator to generate reports based on

various criteria such as scheme details, applicant’s details, applications details, status of applications, etc.
