Definition of stereotypes

A stereotype is a label which involves a process of categorisation and evaluation.

Although it may refer to situations or places, its most used in conjunction with representations of social groups.

In simplest terms, an easily grasped characteristic (usually negative) is presumed to belong to the whole group.

Definition of Gender

The state of being masculine or feminine rather than biologically male or female.

Definition of Masculine

Having qualities or appearance traditionally associated with men.

Definition of Feminine

Having qualities or appearance traditionally associated with women.

Stereotypical masculine

Clumsy.

Experienced.
