Gaza Strip - Land Crossing ActivityAugust 29th to September 3rd 2010

WEEKLY CROSSING STATUS REPORT The Israeli Government together with the IDF coordinates thedelivery of a variety of Humanitarian Aid amp Development

Assistance to the civilian population of the Gaza Strip on a dailybasis This report details cross-border activities between

August 29th and September 3rd 2010

Between June and August the capacity of the Kerem ShalomCrossing was expanded by 210 facilitating the daily entry of

up to 250 truckloads of goods The revised list of controlleditems to the Gaza Strip was published on July 5th1

During the Ramadan period the crossing will operate until

1500 following the PArsquos request

DETAILED CROSSING ACTIVITY

Overall 1080 truckloads (24711tons) were unloaded at thecrossings

112 Int Org staff members entered Israel

123 Int Org staff members entered the Gaza

Strip311 patients and accompanying individuals

crossed into Israel and the West Bank

Kerem Shalom

883 truckloads (17001 tons) were

imported to the Gaza Strip 1004483 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for

the power plant were transferred

656 tons of Cooking Gas were transferred250750 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for

transportation (UNRWA) were transferred

Karni Conveyor

197 truckloads (7710 tons) were imported to

the Gaza Strip
