 STATE OF ISRAEL MINISTRY OF DEFENSE COORDINATOR OF GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE TERRITORIES Foreign Relations Branch, Hakirya, Tel Aviv – Tel.: 03-6977622/3 – Fax: 03-6967976 Gaza Strip - Land Crossing Activity August 29 th to September 3rd, 2010 WEEKLY CROSSING STATUS REPORT The Israeli Government, together with the IDF, coordinates the delivery of a variety of Humanitarian Aid & Development Assistance to the civilian population of the Gaza Strip on a daily basis. This report details cross-border activities between August 29 th and September 3 rd 2010. Between June and August, the capacity of the Kerem Shalom Crossing was expanded by 210%, facilitating the daily entry of up to 250 truckloads of goods. The revised list of controlled items to the Gaza Strip was published on July 5 th1 . During the Ramadan period the crossing will operate until 15:00 following the PA’s request. DETAILED CROSSING ACTIVITY Overall, 1,080 truckloads (24,711tons) were unloaded at the crossings. 1  the list is published on the Prime minister office website- www.pmo.gov.il/PMOEng/Communication/Spokesman /2010/07/spoke gaza050710.htm. Erez 112 Int. Org. staff members entered Israel. 123 Int. Org. staff members entered the Gaza Strip. 311 patients and accompanying individuals crossed into Israel and the West Bank. Kerem Shalom 883 truckloads (17,001 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip. 1,004,483 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for the power plant were transferred. 656 tons of Cooking Gas were transferred. 250,750 liters of Heavy-Duty Diesel for transportation (UNRWA) were transferred. Karni Conveyor 197 truckloads (7,710 tons) were imported to the Gaza Strip.
