For an Afternoon of Family Lenten Recollection Sunday, March 13, 2011

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

St. Gregory the Great Church 4680 Nottingham Way Hamilton Square, NJ

Adult Program

(held in the Church) † Inspirational talk by one of the Friars † Walk along with a Friar as he tells his

personal spiritual story. † Enjoy a variety of music by the Friars

that will lift your heart and soul. † Spend some time with Jesus this Lent

during Eucharistic Adoration.

Youth Programs

† Three separate programs will run

simultaneously: o Youth Track - K – 5th Grade o Teen Track - 6th – 12th Grade o Babysitt ing - Toddlers – Pre-

School Aged Children

Who are the Franciscan Friars?

† They are men who publically consecrate themselves to God and ministry within the church.

† They live together in vows of

celibacy, poverty and obedience. † They devote their l ives to prayer

and charity. Reaching out spiritually and materially to the poor, the homeless and the destitute.

† They depend almost entirely on

donations to support themselves & their charities, which include a homeless shelter, a youth center and a food bank.

† They are devoted to evangelizing &

fostering a strong prayer & community l ife in the neighborhoods where they reside.
