The career of the two blind musicians spans way back into the eighties. Amadou & Mariam combine traditional Mali melodies and rhythms with Western rock music. The French band Aquaserge mixes dance music, jazz, the musical freedom of the psychedelic 1970s and subsequent genres like Kraut, noise, progressive and freestyle. The band consists of five core members but more than 50 others orbit around it like satellites. They are dedicated to musical adventures - with no boundaries at all.

LIVE ACTS
| FISHBACH |Sat, 23.09.2017 / 22:30 / Nochtwache - Presented by: Chic Schnack
In their music, the young musician and her band from Paris combine indie darkness, the mysteriousness of Mylène Farmer and stirring pop eclecticism. As serene as Fishbach appears, as much she withholds contemporary cynicism. Neo-romanticism and wave is what she aims at.
Contacts: • ASTERIOS (booking): l.kaya@asterios.fr• SONY (label): valerie.janin@sonymusic.com• Booking D: meltbooking.com
| H-BURNS |Sat, 23.09.2017 / 19:30 / Nochtwache - Presented by: Chic Schnack
Some maintain that there isn’t something like original French rock music. All of those should be irritated by H-Burns, at least he really stands on his own with his clever indie and folk rock. H-Burns creates music for harmony addicts. Music that makes everyone feel awesome.

| KID FRANCESCOLI |Wed 20.09.2017 / 20:45 / Molotow SkyBar - Presented by: Chic Schnack
Wafting synthies and pop melodies, this is what the project named Kid Francescoli stands for. Its vocation is pop in its dreamy form. Powerful beats and even orchestral sounding folktronic are mixed to a danceable brew. Currently the band is looking for the following representation: Booking for Eastern Europe / UK / US.

| KILLASON |Sat 23.09.2017 / 21:00 / Nochtwache - Presented by: Chic Schnack
KillASon is a particularly flamboyant member of the French HipHop scene. His trademarks are courage to experiment, a charisma like the young Prince and a fascinating, even vibrating HipHop style. KillASon is about to become a new MC Solaar.
Contacts: • SUPANOVA MUSIC (label): charlotte.corre@supanovamusic.co • FURAX (booking): william@furax.fr
| LAST TRAIN |Wed 20.09.2017 / 23:15 / Molotow SkyBar - Presented by: Chic Schnack
Last Train celebrate wonderful, rather straight Britpop. Simultaneously, they mix their music with rough neo sixties rock that reminds of Band of Skulls. In 2005, the four from the Alsatian Mulhouse have founded a band and have emulated their idols since, for example Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The music of Last Train hits everyone.
Contacts: • COLD FAME (booking & label): jeannoel@coldfame.com• DEAF ROCK RECORDS (management): julien@deafrock.fr• Booking D: selectiveartists.com
| M.I.L.K |Sat 23.09.2017 / 23:40 / Indra - Presented by: MXD
Heavy electronic funk rhythms, chorical singing: What M.I.L.K. creates, is such an unusual pop project. M.I.L.K.’s songs have soaked up the sun. They do not only fuse icebergs but are full of positive energy as well.

Wed 20.09.2017 / 21:30 / Fritz Container (Festival Village)
Johansson’s music is rather located on the shadowy side. However, she lets the songs keep their form as chamber pop, in which powerful trip pop beats are mixed as well. The gentle arrangements are combined with her elfin, precise voice. Currently the band is looking for the following representation: Booking Germany & UK / Label Germany & UK & France.

| PAPOOZ |Wed 20.09.2017 / 22:00 / Molotow SkyBar - Presented by: Chic Schnack
This is a happy alternative pop act from France. Papooz creates a link between the vaudeville tradition and the golden funk and disco days from Memphis, Tennessee, in the middle of the 1970s. And their album sounds just as tropical, sticky and yearning.

| NOEP |Wed, 20.09.2017 / 20:00 / Häkken
The world of dance music is his territory. And he approaches it in ever-changing indie electro pop nuances. Through this, the young man from Tallinn (Estonia) creates a highly metropolitan universal sound. These songs never leave your ears and make you dance because of their sweeping melodies.

LIVE ACTS
| SONGHOY BLUES |Sat 23.09.2017 / 20:30 / Mojo Club Traditional Tuareg sounds are mixed impressively with classic blues patterns of musicians like John Lee Hooker. Sharp guitars and thrilling rhythms riddled with traditional vocals. It does not have much to do with world music but much more with the soul of blues.
Contacts: • Booking D: fkpscorpio.com
| THE WANTON BISHOPS |Sat 23.09.2017 / 21:20 / Molotow - Presented by: Visions
Rock music with a strong lace of swampy blues from the Lebanon, that’s what The Wanton Bishops stands for. On their current EP “Nowhere Everywhere” both pay homage to the timeless themes of rock’n’roll, love, money respectively the difficulties with them.

| SOLSTAFIR |Sat 23.09.2017 / 21:20 / Uebel & Gefährlich The metal design of the four-member band lives on contrasts. Sólstafir set foot in dark realms but they never completely restrained from melodic rooms. Sólstafir created a universal language with their very own sound, not simply restricted to Wacken excitement!

LIVE ACTS
| THIS IS THE KIT |Sat 23.09.2017 / 19:40 / NochtspeicherBehind the band's name This Is The Kit, the British folk musician Kate Stables is hiding. She divides her time between Bristol and Paris. Her sound has developed into a bolder approach than at her previous two albums, maybe Aaron Dessner (The National) had encouraged her to leave the beaten tracks of folk. Currently Kate Stables works on her next album. We are already excited.
Contacts: • SUPER MON AMOUR (booking): jb@supermonamour.com• Booking D: listencollective.com
| WHITE HEAT |Thu 21.09.2017 / 22:00 / Sankt Pauli Museum (Hamburg Haus) Presented by: Schubert Music Publishing, SMILE Records
In its past life White Heat once used to be a cult band. It was named I Love UFO and it was such an institution at the French rock scene. Now, I Love UFO rises again – as White Heat, this time with even more power. White Heat called out the chaos of decibels. And their pure energy lets shake the grandest venues. Currently the band is looking for the following representation: Booking Europe.
Contacts:• SCHUBERT MUSIC PUBLISHING: synch@schubertmusic.fr
| YASMINE HAMDAN |Fri, 22.09.2017 / 22:25 / Gruenspan - Presented by: SZENE HAMBURG
Musically speaking Hamdan also unites different influences within her songs. Western electro beats meet Greek bouzouki tunes, classic Arabian rhythms talk modern trip-hop. Yasmine Hamdan sings of relationships, love and rebellion. Her texts often carry a political dimension too.
