Ideology

This short film is based around a group of birds sitting on a telephone wire, and they cannot seem to get along, which shows them to have bad personalities. They are joined by a larger clumsy bird. And begin to make fun of him and try and get away from this newcomer. This movie has been made to teach people not to bully people just because they are seen as being different or just because they are new. Treat them how you would like to be treated.

Equilibrium

The equilibrium is the birds sitting on the wire together, although they are arguing this is still the normal thing that happens

Disequilibrium

This is where the new large bird tries to join in with his new ‘friends’. He tries to join them on the telephone wire.

The Recognition of the Disorder

This is where the birds try their best to bully and make fun of the large newcomer, also they try to move away from him to restore the way they once were.

The New Equilibrium

The new equilibrium is the new large bird getting his own back on the other birds and he sends them flying in the air, he gets the last laugh. So the one who was being mistreated actually ended up better off, this is the point that is trying to be portrayed by Pixar.

The Hero

The hero is the large bird that tries to make friends, as the viewers feelings are with him.

The VillainThe villain is the large group of birds, that bully and mistreat our hero, this is because the viewer will take a dislike to them instantly.

The Princess

This is also the large bird as he is doing this for himself, not to rescue anyone else, but to save himself from being lonely.

The HelperAgain, the large bird as he is helping himself in this story, he wants to make friends so he does so, by himself.
