01 Admission�GuidelinesImportant� Notes� for� Submission1.� There� are� three� deadlines� for� submission.� The� first� and� second�will� be� on� June� 1st� 18:00.� The� last�
deadline�will�be�on�July�2nd�18:00.�Please�note�that�your�submission�will�be�completed�when�you�have�
filled� out� all� required� fields� and�make� yout� payment� for� the� application.
2.�Write�down�the�exact�name�of�the�department�you�applied�for� in�Korean�or�English.�You�cannot�change�
the�department�you�applied�or�receive�refund�for�application�fee�once�you�completed�your�submission.
3.�All� documents�must� be� in�Korean�or� English.�Any�documents�written� in� languages�other� than� those�
two� languages�must� be� translated� into� Korean� or� English.
4.�Please�print�out�the�test� ID�slip.�The�test� ID�slip� is�required�for�checking�your�interview�schedule,�exam/interview�
results� and� tuition� fee� payment.
5.� Even� if� you� have� finished� online� registration,� you�will� be� excluded� from� document� screening� if� you�
don’t� submit� necessary� documents� within� the� deadline.
6.� CBNU� is� not� responsible� for� any� disadvantages� resulting� from�writing� down� invalid� contact� point� or�
being� out� of� contact.
7.� CBNU�will� only� accept� official� language� exam� certificates� that�was� issued�within� the� last� two� years.

Important� Notes� for� All� Applicants1.�All� required�documents�must�be�original�documents.� If�originals�cannot�be�submitted,�copies�can�be�
submitted�only� if�they�have�been�confirmed�as�true�copies�of�the�original�by�relevant�organizations/institutions�
or� the� Office� of� International� Cooperation� at� Chonbuk� National� University� upon� submission.
2.�All�the�submitted�documents�and�application�fee�will�not�be�returned�or�refunded�after�finishing�application�
period,� and� changing� your� department� is� not� allowed� once� the� application� has� been� accepted.(The�
original� Certificate� of� Graduation� will� be� returned� after� all� entrance� procedures� are� completed.)
3.�All�the�information�including�admission�announcements�will�be�posted�on�the�homepage�so��applicant�
must� follow� the� directions� carefully.
4.� CBNU� is� not� responsible� for� any� disadvantages� resulting� from� not� submitting� necessary� documents� �
� submitting�invalid�contact�points,�not�following�application�process,�not�confirming�the�final�application� �
� results,� being� out� of� contact� and� etc.
5.� Evaluation� scores� for� admission� will� not� be� disclosed.
6.� If�any�of�application�documents�contain�false� information�or�forgery,�admission�will�be�cancelled�immediately.�
Also,� if�an�applicant�is�found�to�be�not�fully�eligible�for�the�requirement,�admission�may�also�be�rescinded�
even� after� the� admission�has�been�granted.� In� this� case,� tuition� fee� is� non-refundable.� Furthermore,�
they� cannot� apply� for� CBNU� for� next� 3� years.
7.� Applicant� who� is� enrolled� in� two� or� more� universities� on� the� same� semester� or� fail� to� pay� their� �
� tuition� fee� before� the� designated� deadline�may� be� Denied� or� Disqualified� for� Admission
� 8.�Admitted�applicant�who�is�an�expected�graduate�or�still�attending�school/university/college�at�the�time� �
� � � of� the�application�submission�must� submit�a�Certificate�of�Completion�or�Diploma� to� the�OIC,�CBNU� �
� � � by� Aug� 24th(Fri),� 2018,� otherwise� their� admission�may� be� withdrawn.
9.�Regulations�of�CBNU�are�applied�to�the�items�that�are�not�defined�on�this�prospectus�and�other�particulars�
are� decided� by� the� Committee� of� Admission� Screening� for� International� Students.
10.�Final�successful�candidates�must�read�through�‘Notes’,�and�must�apply�for�their�visa,�dormitory,� insurance� �
� � and�sign�up�for� lectures�within�the�given�period.�Also,�they�must�pay�the�tuition�fee�during�the�given� �

more than 4 weeks to issue a visa, (Mongolia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, China and etc.)
are recommended to apply by the first and second submission period. The third submission period
is for applicants in Korea and Chinese passport holders residing in foreign countries, whose visas
will be issued within 4 weeks
※ If application documents arrive after 1st submission period, the applicant will be interviewed on
the second session, applicants cannot submit documents from Jun 1st to Jun 24th. (Access to UWAY
website will be denied) The third submission period will begin on Jun 25th

� � � � -�All� freshman�students�will� be� enrolled� to�Global� Frontier�College� for�one-year� and� take� �
� � � � � � Korean�language�classes�and�elective�courses.�After�the�first�year,�students�will�choose�their�major.
� � � � � �※�Students�will�be�placed�to�pre-assigned�departments�based�on�their�interview�scores.�Based�on�
their� pre-assigned� departments,� students� will� learn� either� international� humanity� studies� or�
international� natural� sciences.
� � � � � �※�Students�will�be�placed�to�their�pre-assigned�departments�after�the�end�of�the�first�year.�Students�
can�change�their�pre-assigned�majors�during�their�first�year�or�at�the�end�of�the�year�through�
following�due�procedures.
�� � � � �※�Students�who�applied�to�college�of�arts�and�English�Track�will�be�placed�to�their�majors�
upon� entering.
