Every Day Counts! Plymouth Elementary is proud to support
Governor Hebert’s attendance initiative “Every Day Counts”. This campaign centers on the fact that students do better academically if they attend school over 90% of the time. Plymouth was one of the Top Five schools in the district for most approved attendance. Thank you for your efforts in making sure our students attend every day!

Next year, Plymouth Elementary is excited to implement “The Leader in Me” program. Our goal is to create a school environment that encourages responsibility and leadership among the students. Many benefits have been seen at schools already implementing this program such as: •Increases in students’ self-confidence, teamwork, initiative,
creativity, leadership, problem-solving, communication, diversity awareness and academic performance
•Improved school culture •Decreases in disciplinary issues
•Greater parent involvement and satisfaction The program is centered around the 7 Habits of Happy Kids shown below. We look forward to sharing more about this program with you in the coming year!
