ENVIROMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ATAYURT SCHOOLS

Atayurt schools is one of the most envirement-friendly schools in Turkey. Today we would like to tell you some of the activities we did with our school.

COLLECTING BOTTLE CAPS PROJECT

This project actually helps disabled people to get wheelchairs and helps to get rid of some plastics. Our school has been helping this project for nearly four years.

We have reached 12 wheelchairs in 3 and collected about 1000 kg of bottle caps

ENO Tree Planting Day

ENO Tree Planting Day is activity about nature and peace. It’s centered in Finland and founded in 2004. It’s purpose is to plant 100 million trees until 2017.

We have attened this international activity and had our certificate proudly.

ATAYURT MEMORIAL FOREST

Our school has been planting trees (about10.000 trees a year) and growing it’s Memorial forest for years.

ECO Schools Walk

Our school’s students, teachers and baliuses attended a walk about Sensibility on Cleanliness of Our City which was organized by Tepebaşı Municipality, Anadolu University and ECO Schools group all together.

Collecting Waste Batteries

Our school has collected waste batteries and gave them to the metropolitan municipality.
