Ms Kathy

Non renewable : Forms of energy that can not be replaced easily once used.

Renewable : Forms of energy that can be replaced easily.

Solar energyEnergy  from the sun used  to produce electricityThis is a renewable source of energy.

Hydro energyEnergy  from flowing water  used togenerate  electricityThis is a renewable source of energy.

Geothermal energy

Heat underground  used to heatWater and produce  steam .This is a renewable source of energy.

Wind energyAir in motion. This is a renewable source of energy.

Oil (petroleum)Is a smelly, yellow-to-black liquid and is usually found in underground areas called reservoirs. This  is a non renewable source  of energy.

Coal Is a combustible black or brownish-black sedimentary rock composed mostly of carbon and hydrocarbons. Miners use giant machines to remove it from the ground. This  is a non renewable source  of energy.

Nuclear EnergyIs energy in the nucleus of an atom.  This  is a non renewable source  of energy.

Natural GasIs colorless, odorless and tasteless, mercaptan (a chemical that has a sulfur like odor) is added before distribution, to give it a distinct unpleasant odor. This is a non renewable source of energy
