Introduction• Egyptian Art includes tomb walls, urns,

hieroglyphics, temples, pyramids, and artifacts found in the burial chambers.

• Hieroglyphics is a type of writing using pictures. It can be written up to down, left to right, or right to left, depending on which way the animal faces are turned.

• Some of the most famous artifacts were found in King Tut’s tomb. Most were made of gold.

• Tomb walls tell the story of the life or afterlife of the person buried there.

• On tomb walls, as well as, temples the royal or holy name is written in a cartouche.

• Most tombs are found in the “Valley of the Kings”.

• Pyramids are also tombs of some of the Kings.
