ESPN issued their first cardio challenge in October 2008.• A four week program where individuals chose one of four

available cardio commitments over the four weeks. • 30 minutes per week• 60 minutes per week

• Participants worked towards their personal goal and their team

(community) goal.• Administrators received weekly status reports of all the

participants.• Over the four weeks, participants uploaded more than 800

workouts and more than 300 hours of cardio exercise.

Facility Challenge• Star Trac can set up a 6 weeks challenge called “get fit for the

summer” using our eFitness system to launch a member competition 2 weeks after installation.

• Participants join and compete against each others for logging cardio minutes.

• Reporting is provided to the facility director and shared with department supervisors via your branded eFitness website

• Great way for the facility to organize fitness challenges without straining facility staff – it’s all automatic.

• Facility will select top performers from the challenge to represent the facility in an upcoming inter-facilities cardio competition.
