Benefits:

This Illustration further highlights the Benefits and Possibilities of Distributed Energy at the Grid Level. European Countries are now actively improving their Grids with extensive CHP Interconnections. Small first Steps in the US are showing an increasing Interest in developing a Smart Grid in North America.

Smart Grid IntegrationSmart Grid Integration

CHP DevelopmentCHP Development

CHP is not new in North America. The 1980’s saw a rapid growth of CHP Capacity in the United States. Installed Capacity increased from less than 10 Gigawatts electric (GWe) in 1980 to almost 44 GWe by 1993. Most of this Capacity was installed at large industrial Facilities such as Pulp and Paper, Petroleum, and Petrochemical Plants. These Plants provided a “Thermal Host" for the Electric Generator.

For many Years CHP Cogeneration has been a complex Issue that involves an Army of Engineers, Consultants, Suppliers, Contractors and Subcontractors.

Every Installation is individually specified, designed, engineered, and Components are generally installed and first-time tested jointly on-Site.

Small CHP Installations have been a very rare Exception.

That’s the Past! Todays Technologies are making Natural Gas CHP much easier.

Distributed Energy, decentralized CHP (Combined Heat & Power) Solutions for Natural Gas Applications in various Industries.

Our 2G® combined heat and power (CHP), also known as co-and tri-generation solutions, are an efficient, clean, and reliable approach to generating power and thermal energy from a single fuel source. By installing a CHP system designed to meet the thermal and electrical base-loads of a facility, cogeneration can greatly increase the overall operational efficiency and decrease energy costs. At the same time, CHP reduces the emission of greenhouse gases.
