How about clinicians and

health authorities’?

Evolution / Disruption• Physicians don’t want « disruption » - they want tools that match their workflow.

• Doctors are trained to follow protocoles – and digital health is not part of any.

• No proper evaluation framework from health authorities.

• Health 2.0 solutiosn extend the notion of care beyond the standard 15-minute

consultation - Increased responsibility/liability / and no compensation?

The EHR example –

a love-hate relationship

Better access to patient data

Improved tracking of

guideline compliance

Better Communication with

Patients and Between

Providers

Time consuming data entry – and physicians

performing lower-skilled work

Interfaces don’t match clinical workflow

Interference with face-to-face care

Information overload

Lack of communication between EHRs

Thank you.
