industrialists have suggested more than

50 initiatives that would transform the

● The aim of this day is to popularize the use

national level and is celebrated on the birth

anniversary of Prof. P C Mahalanobis, on

29th June, in recognition of his invaluable

contribution in establishing the National

Statistical System.
