• the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution, organization

Culture has 2 major aspects

• 1.material culture- skill and productivity in arts and crafts; technology; fine buildings and displays of material prosperity.

wheel, cart, house, clothing are some examples of material culture

2.non-material culture • ideas; the things of the mind; philosophy;

metaphysics; 'spirituality'; values; beliefs; relationships between god and man; 'being', etc
