Why “develop” new Muslims?
• Da’wah is very active – nationally and internationally
• Thousands of people are coming to Islam every year.
• However, there is not an effective follow-up system or plan for new Muslims.
• Little importance is placed on developing new Muslims.
Why “develop” new Muslims, Qur’aan?
And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, … (AnNahl-16:92)
Why “develop” new Muslims, Hadith?
Why “develop” new Muslims, Hadith? When the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) sent Mu`adh to Yemen, he said to him,
"You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." (https://sunnah.com/bukhari/97/2)

● Non practicing Muslims● Lacking for purpose● Emptiness● New faces in masjid● Revert Marriages● meetup.com
It starts with Shahada
ShahadahRemember – It’s not about
numbers! If they accept/reject, it’s not up to you. Guidance is
in the Hands of Allah.
Understanding the ShahadahThe one who is about to take shahadah must know that this
statement has implications

Testimonials from Convert CoachesAlhamdulillah, I have had the opportunity to volunteer as a Coach for about a year now and it has been a rewarding experience. I’ve never been a Coach to anyone before so I was a bit hesitant at first but the training and ongoing support I’ve received has helped me to grow not only as a coach but personally as well. Even though I now have experience sometimes you will still need advice on how to proceed with certain matters as not everyone needs are the same and it’s always reassuring to have team members you know you can always reach out to.
Even though what we do is more geared toward reverts, I have been assigned people who are already Muslims but needed that extra push to get closer to Allah SWT and it really is the best feeling knowing that you are being a positive influence in someone’s life, Alhamdulillah.
To the person who wants to give this a try, I know trying something new can be intimidating especially when you don’t have the experience or haven’t done something like this before but Subhan’Allah the skills you develop and personal growth you will receive is truly worth the leap and remember anything done for the sake of Allah SWT will only ever be beneficial not only in this life but the next. As our beloved Prophet (prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) said, “Allah is in the aid of a servant so long as the servant is in the aid of his brother.” Nazia, Toronto, Canada.

So how do we look in front of Allah if we FOCUS only on da’wah to Non Muslims?
And it is not for the believers to go forth all at once. For there should separate from every division of them a group [remaining] to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious. (9:122)
