INTRODUCTION• Computer clothing is also known as “Wearable Computer”. A small portable computer that is designed to be worn on the body during use.

• Computer Clothing comprises of a computer built within an ordinary clothing.

• Computer Cloths are usually either integrated into the user's clothing or can be attached to the body through some other means, like a wristband.

• They may also be integrated into everyday objects that are constantly worn on the body, like a wrist watch or a hands-free cell phone.

COMPUTER CLOTHING IN MILITARY

• U.S Armed forces are adopting wearable computers.

• Devices that are attached or integrated into an individual's clothing.

• Computer processor with memory• A GPS receiver• A video capture system• A digital compass• A miniature color camera• A power supply subsystem• Fiber cable wiring

MAJOR COMPONENT

• Computer subsystem• Helmet subsystem• Control and communication subsystem• Weapons subsystem• Navigation system

APPLICATION• Track enemy targets.• Network the soldier with air, land and sea forces.• Monitor his/her physical health.• Translate native language.• Offer awareness to the infantry soldier help separate

friend and foe.• Will help infantry men use digitally distributed

orders, maps and intelligence.

ADVANTAGES• Enhance communication• Training• Aircraft targeting system• Aircraft and mine detection• Weapons detection• Bomb detection

DISADVANTAGES

• Short battery life• Integrated these piecemeal component

into a light weight package.• Security problem.

CONCLUSION

Many of countries are opting this feature of computer clothing to enhance their security system or in military field.According to the survey in five to seven years many countries will opt this features.
