Come join Collingwood’s triathlon training group with Andrew Flynn a certified Triathlon Coach. With over 25 years experience in the endurance/triathlon community,
Andrew has raced in every race distance from Sprint to Ironman, and is coaching all levels of athletes from beginner to elite. Andrew is excited to be the YMCA Triathlon
Coach and hopes you can join us for this Y Triathlon Training Program either to train or to race in 2018. This 10 week program will get you ready for a Sprint Level Triathlon this

Barre Dance

Barre Dance is a program based on posture, strength & ballet-inspired movements. This is combined with high
reps of movements & set to music that will inspire balletic movement. Barre Dance helps participants work towards the long, lean, dancer-like physique,
using music, movement & FUN. YMCA Members: $24 + tax, Non-Members: $96 + tax
A systematic method of complete relaxation. Using ancient, guided imagery techniques, this practice eases
you into a deep, meditative state of consciousness. This workshop is designed to introduce you to the art

Commit to Fit Are you looking for something different? Want to
kick your workouts up a notch? Register for Commit to Fit: the Y’s newest program. Fitness tests on week
1, 5 & 8 with a variety of fun and challenging activites, including push-ups, planks, standing long
jump, sandbag drags and beep test. Are you ready to test yourself?

Using an adjustable barbell,
weight plates, and body weigh. Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercise.
PICKLEBALL A fun and energetic paddle sport. This par-
ticipant led program offers a variety of times throughout the week, suitable for
recreational and more advanced players.
PILATES This ‘mat work’ class focuses on
strengthening your core, as well as increasing your flexibility and
endurance. Increase flexibility and strength, posture and
coordination, while synchronizing mind & body.
ON THE MOVE A full body workout for the older adult.
This low impact workout incorpo-rates a variety of
resistance apparatus to
improve strength, balance, flexibility
and posture.
LEGS, TUM & BUM
A light-hearted, yet powerful class, which
will tone and shape the areas we worry about
most. Increase stamina and overall aerobic
fitness. Enjoy an aerobic warm up,
followed by exercises designed to tone and build strength with a stretch session at the
end to increase flexibility.
POST-NATAL CYCLE & CORE
Start your journey towards regaining your pre-baby body with a fun workout
combining a cycle and core workout that you can do while spending time with your baby and other new moms who ‘get it’.
AQUA GENTLEFIT Strengthen and stretch in this
shallow water workout. Great for rehab and strengthening. This class moves at a slower pace.
CARDIO & STRENGTH Variety is the key to this
workout. Each class could include any version of cardio and strength training from our menu of programs. Try
out different styles of cardio using different types of
equipment.
STRETCH A total body stretching class which includes all
major and minor muscle groups, de-signed to improve
overall flexibility and balance. A great class
after any workout.
RUN CLUB A club for those who
love to run, which will focus on achieving
personal goals in a fun supportive
environment. SEATED MEDITATION
This class provides a short guided meditation where participants sit
in chairs. Come, relax, and explore the deep restorative effects of this
ancient practice.
YOGA Through postures,
meditation and breathing exercises,
you will learn to bring yourself to a peaceful
frame of mind. Im-proved strength and
flexibility are the physical benefits of
practicing yoga. Mens only yoga also
available
CYCLE Cycle is a great cardio workout
appropriate for all fitness levels. Adjust your workout to match your individual
fitness needs.
ON THE MOVE CHAIR FITNESS
A class designed for those who would
like to take part in a fitness class but are unable to do some of the movements
due to physical restrictions.
ADULT DROP-IN CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ADULT/YOUTH SWIM LESSONS A drop-in program focused on
developing swim abilities, comfort in the water & stroke improvement. Our instructors will help you attain your individual goals in the water.
AQUAFIT This combination aerobic and
muscle conditioning class takes place in the shallow and deep
water. Flotation belts and hydro-fit dumbbells may be used.
ADULT MASTERS
This class is for those members that are comfortable in the
water and are looking for some variety and an extra push to
add to their training program.
CARDIO & CORE Combining the focus of a great abdominal &
back strengthening workout with a heart pumping cardio workout.

Junior Lifeguard Club: Tuesdays from March 20 to June 5, 7-8:00pm Ages: 9-12 years, Cost: Included w/Membership, Registration required!
A registered introduction to the lifesaving skills program, in a fun, rewarding atmosphere. Pre-req: 9-12yrs & passed Swimmer Level. Develop lifesaving skills and strokes, while building towards being future leaders in aquatics as lifeguards, instructors or active swimmers for life.
Youth Wellness 1 & 2: for 10-12 year olds. 3 sessions to choose from: April 6 & May 11 from 5:00-7:00pm OR June 11 from 4:45-6:45pm
Friday Night Youth Wellness will introduce your 10-12 year old to the cardio and weight machines in our conditioning room. skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing and other outdoor activities throughout the coming year!
Led by a Personal Trainer, the Gravity class provides for a full-body workout in 30 minutes.
This class is designed for everyone - seniors, beginners or athletes!
Quick & easy transitions between exercises, provides a fast-paced cardio-strength workout that delivers observable body-shaping results.

Private Swim Lessons
Available for any age or ability!
These one-on-one or semi-private lessons are a great way to sharpen your skill level in the
water by training with friendly, qualified aquatics professionals. You will improve your competency, build confidence and have fun!
Members: $30 for a 1/2 hour lesson Non-Members: $40 for a 1/2 hour lesson

Respite On Saturdays from 1pm-4pm, your child with a special need
can participate in arts & crafts, sensory activities, gym activities and swimming, while you take a break!
Support is offered at a ratio of 1 staff: 2 children. There is a maximum of 6 children per program day.
